THE countdown is on for the opening of the $80 million Aura Home + Life precinct, with the major new shopping destination set to welcome customers from August 17.
The 20,000sqm large-format retail centre will open ahead of an official celebration on August 21, marking another major milestone for the rapidly growing Aura community.
The precinct is now fully tenanted following the announcement of its final three retailers, TK Maxx, Adairs and Baby Bunting.
They join Rebel, The Good Guys, Spotlight, Anaconda, Harris Scarfe, Supercheap Auto, Beacon Lighting, Petstock and Pillow Talk, creating a one-stop destination for home, lifestyle, fashion, sporting, automotive and family needs.
Capital Property Group Head of Property Richard Snow said the calibre of retailers committing to Aura reflected growing confidence in the southern Sunshine Coast. “National retailers don’t make location decisions based purely on what’s here today – they’re investing based on where communities are heading over the next 10 to 20 years,” Mr Snow said.
Located on the corner of Graf Drive and Aura Boulevard, adjacent to the Aura Business Park, the precinct features 12 large-format tenancies ranging from about 350sqm to 5,000sqm.
