A passion for science supported

LOCAL student Isabella Buckland from Glasshouse Christian College has been recognised for her passion for science after receiving support from the Rotary Club of Glasshouse Country to attend the nationwide STEM Science Experience outreach program.

Designed for Year 9 and 10 students, the program gives young people hands-on exposure to science, engineering and technology pathways.

Following the experience, Isabella was also supported by both the Rotary Club of Glasshouse Country and the Caloundra Pacific Rotary Club to participate in the prestigious National Youth Science Forum.

The forum connects Australia’s brightest science students with industry leaders, universities and researchers, encouraging the next generation of scientists, and innovators to explore careers in STEM fields.
