The state government has introduced new legislation to expand its Adult Crime, Adult Time laws to 33 youth crime offences, strengthening its commitment to community safety.
The Making Queensland Safer (Adult Crime, Adult Time) Amendment Bill 2025 adds 20 serious offences, including attempted murder, rape, and trafficking in dangerous drugs. Attorney-General Deb Frecklington said the reforms reflect community expectations.
