Antique buyers are in the area

Turn hidden treasures into instant cash now

Looking to declutter and turn unwanted items into cash? Antique Buyers, father-and-son duo Mike and Nate, are visiting the Sunshine Coast from October 20–25.

They are enthusiastic buyers, particularly interested in gold jewellery (broken or intact), antique jewellery, gold and silver coins, collectibles including military medals, banknotes, and mechanical watches. Mike Cornish, the company’s chief buyer, says, “Everyone has something we want to buy, and nothing is too small for our consideration. We are just as happy to buy one item as 10,000!” Instant appraisals are available on the spot, with no appointment needed.

With gold prices still high, now is an ideal time to sell old chains, rings, brooches, and even gold teeth. Silver is also in demand, including coins and bars of any size.

You may have a hidden treasure among your old coins. Mike says, “We want to see any old foreign coin accumulations—bags, tins, folders. We’ll happily go through your coins on the spot and give you an idea of what we can pay. You never know what can turn up!”

Mechanical watches are urgently sought, especially brands like Rolex, Omega, Patek Philippe, Longines, and Seiko, which can command good prices depending on the model and condition. Unsure about your watch? Bring it in for an appraisal.

Home visits are also offered for those unable to attend in person or with large quantities to sell.
