APPLICATIONS are now open for artists keen to perform at the 2026 Maleny Music Festival, with organisers inviting expressions of interest ahead of the 1 March deadline.
The 13th annual festival will be held at the Maleny Showgrounds from 6–8 November 2026, featuring seven venues across existing buildings and marquees.
Around 60 to 70 acts will be booked, each performing up to three 30 to 60-minute sets across the weekend.
Programming generally leans towards original, acoustic, folk and traditional music, with some lively evening party-style acts. Cover bands are typically not sought.
Presented by volunteers from Maleny Music & Performing Arts Association Inc., the non-profit festival will notify applicants of outcomes in April or May. www.malenymusicfestival.com/2026-artist-applications/
