THE success of this year’s 40 finalists, selected from more than 200 outstanding entries, was celebrated at the opening night of the Sunshine Coast Art Prize last Thursday April 10.
Held at Caloundra Regional Gallery, the event drew a large crowd of art enthusiasts and supporters. The winners of the Best in Show Acquisitive Award, 2D Excellence Award and 3D Excellence Award winners were announced during the evening. Featuring works across a range of mediums and themes, the exhibition showcased the region’s finest creative talent. The night was a vibrant celebration of local art and culture.
