FUNDRAISING for the Maleny Soldiers Memorial Hospital never stops and attention to the requirements of the hospital is always ongoing including over Christmas for the Maleny Hospital Auxiliary committee.
The Auxiliary donated 2 x Oxygen Concentrators and supporting equipment at the hospitals request.
During power blackouts home patients using oxygen often must come into the hospital to assist with necessary oxygen.
Other items required and supplied at the time was six Duogel Cushions for ideal for outdoor seating and on wheelchairs.
The Director of Nursing, Kerry Ramsay expressed thanks on behalf of the hospital rallying around clinical staff with Carole Lewis, Aux President and Sandra van Schaged, Aux Secretary showcasing the much-needed equipment.
The needs of patients and staff are always our priority at the Hospital Auxiliary.
