BeeGees excited for sign ons ahead of new football season

BEEGEES Football Club President Shaun De Courcy says its sign on days on January 28 ,which has now passed, and February 4 are aimed at spreading information to new families wanting to play football.
“New players can come down to get an understanding on costings, what the season entails, game days, as well as where the registration fees go,” he said.
“We will also have a merch area set up for families to buy soccer attire they need such as shirts, shorts etc. and they can be purchased or ordered by the families.”
Shaun says that registrations are coming in and players will benefit from new home ground lighting upgrades which will be completed this year, and the new player signings for the premier men’s and women’s teams.
“…we look forward to seeing these new players grow at our club and watch them become competitive once again,” he said.
“We are just looking to exciting times for the year with the lighting upgrade and we’ve got new people looking after the grounds too… we hope we can have another year of fantastic football.”
As for the club’s goal this year, Shaun says he wants players to enjoy playing game and remain competitive.
“Our goal for the year is for the kids to enjoy their football, its about comradery and being in a team environment and to be competitive as good as you can,” he said.
“We are not expecting people to perfect; we just want them to enjoy their football and have a long and healthy relationship with the game.”
