Beerburrum Country Markets

THE Beerburrum Country Markets will return on Saturday, May 16, bringing a vibrant mix of local produce, handmade goods and community spirit to the hinterland.

Running from 8am to 12pm at the Beerburrum School of Arts on ANZAC Avenue, the all-weather event will feature a wide range of stalls from local makers and growers.

Visitors can browse fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, honey, plants and baked goods, alongside handcrafted items including jewellery, bags, bowls, paintings and woodwork.

Organisers say stallholders are welcome to book indoor or outdoor sites, with set-up available from Friday afternoon or early Saturday morning.

Adding to the family-friendly atmosphere, Scrub Mutts will offer dog washing and nail clipping by appointment, while bacon and egg rolls will be available and free card-making activities provided.

The markets offer a chance to support small businesses while enjoying the relaxed village atmosphere, with the nearby Glass House Mountains trails also drawing visitors to the area.

Stall bookings can be made by contacting Patricia on 0490 490 1126 or via email 4517communityhall@gmail.com.
