A VERY special celebration occurred on Saturday May 6 with guests including Glasshouse MP, Andrew Powell (pictured with Pat Jutila), marking the 105th anniversary of the Beerburrum Hall. The hall, known as the Beerburrum School of the Arts, opened on May 9, 1918, two years after the areas was identified as a settlement for returned soldiers.
The hall, run entirely by community members, today serves as a regular meeting place for markets and volunteer services as well as yoga lessons.
