BEERWAH State School was transformed into a colourful parade of favourite characters as students and staff celebrated Book Week.
Students went to great lengths to bring their favourite books to life, with an impressive array of costumes on show during the school’s Book Week Parade.
The celebration provided an opportunity for the school community to come together and recognise the important role books and reading play in children’s lives. Parents and carers also joined the fun, showing their support and adding to the excitement of the morning.
Students were recognised for their creative costumes, with ‘best dressed’ winners receiving vouchers to spend at the school’s Book Fair – the perfect prize for young book lovers.
Staff also embraced the spirit of the day, with plenty of creativity on display. A parent penguin even waddled away with the award for best-dressed adult!
It was a fun-filled morning celebrating imagination, reading and the joy of getting lost in a good book.
