CHARTER member of Beerwah Lions Ron Boyle was recently honoured of the Lions shed at the Beerwah Sportsground.
The honour was bestowed on Ron in recognition of his 54 years of service to Beerwah Lions and the Beerwah community, since joining the Beerwah Lions in 1967.
A low-key ceremony was held at the shed with fellow members and his wife Jan.
Jan was thanked for her constant support with the ladies’ auxiliary and for assisting with the many projects and functions that Ron and the Lions worked on over the years.
