CLEAR skies are forecast to welcome visitors to this Friday and Saturday’s Maleny Agricultural Show 2026, with sunny conditions set to provide the perfect backdrop for what organisers say will be one of the biggest and most action-packed shows in recent years.
The show’s official Event Guide has been released online, giving attendees an early look at the packed program of entertainment, competitions, exhibits and attractions on offer across the two-day event on May 29 and 30.
This year’s program features a huge mix of traditional show favourites alongside adrenaline-fuelled entertainment, live music, animal experiences and family-friendly attractions.
Among the major drawcards returning in 2026 is KC’s Arena Spectacular, featuring monster trucks, freestyle motocross, jet car action and a fireworks finale expected to light up the night sky on both Friday and Saturday evenings.
Country music fans will also be treated to live performances throughout the weekend as Country Stars returns with emerging Australian talent performing across the grounds.
Families can enjoy free entertainment, wildlife encounters, food vendors, local produce, shopping stalls and interactive activities, while horse enthusiasts can take in a full schedule of equestrian events, including showjumping, hack competitions and arena showcases.
One of the most anticipated arena attractions is Cowgirls with Wings, combining professional trick riding, horsemanship and high-energy performances.
Whipcracking will also return as a crowd favourite, with free “Come and Try” sessions from 11am on Friday and Saturday and competition events scheduled for Friday afternoon under steward Ken Scott.
Traditional show events remain a strong focus, including the popular Woodchop Competition, where competitors will test their speed, strength and precision in one of the Show’s most iconic contests.
Visitors are also encouraged to explore the Pavilion Exhibits showcasing baking, arts, crafts, photography, flowers and local produce from talented exhibitors across the region.
Organisers say the 2026 event promises something for all ages and interests.
“Whether you’re visiting for the entertainment, competitions, food, music, animals or family fun, the Maleny Agricultural Show 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest years yet,” they said.
