THE Beerwah Bulldogs Masters put on a cracking display of footy on Saturday April 18, taking on the Beachmere Pelicans in a spirited contest at that had everything – big runs, solid hits, and plenty of laughs along the way.
While the final score saw the Bulldogs go down 28–20, the result didn’t reflect the energy and entertainment both sides brought to the field.
In true Masters fashion, it was a game played hard but fair, with mateship and enjoyment front and centre.
The Bulldogs veterans showed they’ve still got plenty left in the tank, pulling off some impressive runs and showcasing their experience with smart play and strong defence.
Every try was earned, and every moment was backed by great camaraderie between the two sides.
It wasn’t just about the scoreboard, it was about getting out there, pulling on the blue and white, and enjoying the game we all love.
The laughs were just as important as the hits, and both teams embraced the spirit of Masters rugby league from start to finish.
A big thank you to the Beachmere Pelicans for a great game and the way it was played.
The Bulldogs Masters will take plenty of positives out of the match and are already looking forward to their next run.
