A CORNERSTONE of care on the Blackall Range is marking a major milestone, with RangeCare celebrating 40 years of supporting older residents, carers and families with a vibrant community event this month.
The RangeCare Family Fun Fair will be held on Friday, April 17, from 10am to 1pm, transforming the organisation’s Flaxton head office into a lively hub of activity for all ages.
The free event promises a festive atmosphere, with arts and crafts, live music, face painting, a jumping castle and a dedicated Kids Corner set to entertain younger visitors, while adults can connect with allied health professionals, join a reflective Conversation Circle and explore limited-edition 40-year merchandise.
Guests will also be invited to share their personal stories and memories in a special 40 Years Celebration Guest Book, capturing the community spirit that has underpinned RangeCare’s work for four decades.
Founded on the purpose of “making a difference to living”, RangeCare has built a strong reputation across the Sunshine Coast and Gympie Region for delivering services that promote independence, dignity and quality of life.
Marketing Officer Rebecca Whitaker said the milestone was an opportunity to recognise the people and relationships at the heart of the organisation.
“Our community has walked alongside us for four decades,” she said.
“This celebration is our way of saying thank you for the trust, the stories and the relationships that have shaped RangeCare into what it is today.”
Held at 360–362 Flaxton Drive, the event is open to all, with parking and shuttle services available from 342 Flaxton Drive.
Community members are encouraged to come along, connect and celebrate four decades of care, community and lasting impact.
