CORAL McAlister (née Hume), with her late husband Jim, has been a member of Peachester History Committee for over twenty years. Coral turned 90 in July, so at our August meeting we had a birthday cake to celebrate this milestone with her.
Part of the history of our district, Coral is descended from four pioneer families – Collins, Harden, Dwyer and Hume. She grew up in Peachester and attended the Peachester School, and has been a great source of recollections, photographs and family history, helping with many PHC projects and publications.
