To celebrate Queensland Seniors Month, the senior members of the Landsborough Seventh-day Adventist Church hosted a free seniors lunch for the community. 60 people attended including clients and carers from Glass House Country Care. The attendees were treated to entertainment by the Palm Lake Beachmere Singers followed by a presentation from representatives of the CWA who highlighted the work of the organisation in light of their 100th anniversary in Queensland. The attendees donated $250 to the Beerwah CWA. An awesome vegetarian buffet lunch followed. It was a great time of fun, food and fellowship and an excellent opportunity for the senior church members to meet other seniors in their community.
