CMC Rocks locked in for two more years

Tourism Minister Michael Healy has confirmed that the CMC Rocks country music festival will stay in Queensland for at least two more years.

The event, which has been held at Willowbank, Ipswich, since 2015, will run through to 2026.

The 2025 festival will take place from March 21-23 and is expected to draw 23,000 attendees, contributing $14 million to the state’s economy.

CMC Rocks attracts major global stars like Lainey Wilson, Tyler Hubbard, and Chris Young, solidifying Queensland’s reputation as Australia’s country music hub.
