THE team at Complete Care Pharmacy Landsborough is incredibly proud to share some exciting news with our local community.
Following our journey from Landsborough Chemist to Complete Care Pharmacy Landsborough, we have received two significant industry nominations.
Co-owner and pharmacist Sean Fitzpatrick has been nominated for Pharmacist of the Year, while Complete Care Pharmacy Landsborough has been shortlisted as one of five Queensland finalists for Pharmacy of the Year.
These nominations recognise far more than any one individual.
They reflect the enormous effort our entire team has put into transforming the pharmacy, introducing new health services, embracing new technology and, most importantly, continuing to provide great care to our community throughout a period of significant change.
Pharmacy of the Year considers areas including the introduction of new services, adoption of technology and automation, community engagement and a pharmacy’s vision for the future.
Our vision is to continue developing the pharmacy into a place where our community can conveniently access primary healthcare, professional advice and medications in a private and professional environment, with more opportunities to spend meaningful time with a pharmacist.
Sean’s Pharmacist of the Year nomination recognises his commitment to this vision, including the adoption of pharmacist prescribing services, using technology to streamline pharmacy operations and a philosophy of maximising the time pharmacists can spend directly with their patients.
Most importantly, we want to congratulate and thank our entire team who have worked with us through a challenging re-brand, and have adopted a completely new way of working.
Every member of our staff has contributed to these nominations through their hard work, adaptability and commitment to our patients.
We would also like to thank the Landsborough and wider Glasshouse Country community for supporting us and coming along on this journey.
The Queensland winner will be announced in October, progressing to the national awards in March 2027.
Whatever the result, being recognised among Queensland’s leading pharmacies is something our whole team can be very proud of.
