Following a few months of intense negotiations, a community music club forced to close due to noise complaints has been given the green light to reopen.
Organisers of the Crystal Waters Music Club are relieved their monthly live music event has been allowed to resume on November 25 after closing due to apparent zoning and compliance issues.
Music club coordinator Bernard O’Scanaill said he was thrilled the community would once again be able to gather together on the Deck at Crystal Waters and enjoy an evening of local live music and dancing.
“Many folks from inside and beyond Crystal Waters put their minds to our predicament and the networkers talked a bit of sense to power. After much talk and much negotiation, we have got the Green Light from the powers that be,” he said. The event starts at 6pm with folk act Abakus and duo JC and the Tree.
