SHIRLEY Rule, a life member of the Down Under Craft Group, was born to create. She has been making knitted, sewn, and quilted items since her teenage years. Over 24 years ago, Shirley and fellow craft enthusiasts formed Down Under Craft to have a space to meet, share ideas, and create. What began as a friendly gathering grew into a thriving group and eventually led to the opening of the Craft Shop at Landsborough Hall.
Craft has been a lifelong passion for Shirley. She has made clothes for family and friends and was long regarded as the “go-to” person in Landsborough for wedding gowns, formal wear, and other special creations. A keen follower of Pinterest, she enjoys exploring new techniques and projects.
Shirley continues to sew, knit, quilt, crochet, and draft patterns, generously sharing her skills with others.
She treasures Down Under Craft for the friendship, inspiration, and fellowship of likeminded women.
