THERE were a number of special and sacred Easter ceremonies across the Hinterland this year, including a number of masses.
Beerwah Church on the Rise hosted a service and morning tea on April 2 to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.
They thanked all involved in the event including the ministry team, worship sound media and camera, and the hosts.
Reverend Deb Bird from the Anglican Parishes of Maleny and Palmwoods said the first mass for the church on March 30 was wonderfully beautiful, celebrating the rise of Christ around a warm fire.
