Folk activist plays Witta

Portland-based protest singer David Rovics will bring his songs of social significance to the hinterland with a performance in Witta on Friday, 25 July, joined by Kamala Emanuel as Ministry of Culture.

The house concert near The Nest Café offers an evening of songs about resistance, courage, and connection.

Doors open at 6pm for a pre-booked vegetarian Palestinian dinner ($15), with cakes and hot drinks available for purchase.

Music starts at 7pm.
