THE Woodford Folk Festival has wrapped up its 2025/26 event, with Festival Director Amanda Jackes describing it as another successful chapter in the festival’s long and celebrated history.
Ms Jackes said the festival delivered a powerful celebration of joy, humanity and shared connection, drawing more than 100,000 people in aggregate attendance over the six-day event.
“I am absolutely delighted with how this year’s festival has unfolded,” she said. “Watching the sun rise over Woodfordia on New Year’s morning is one of those moments that stays with people for a long time. It’s a powerful reminder of why this place and this festival hold such deep meaning for so many.”
Ms Jackes expressed deep gratitude to the volunteers, artists and patrons who brought the festival to life, acknowledging their energy, generosity and creativity as central to its success.
“The community behind Woodford never ceases to inspire all of us here,” she said. “I am incredibly excited to see what lies ahead in 2026 and beyond.”
