Follow the sparkle of Christmas lights

THE Sunshine Coast is glowing once again, as a dazzling array of festive lights brings colour, cheer and Christmas magic to communities right across the region.
This year, Sunshine Coast Council has lit up 26 trees with eco-friendly LED displays and vibrant decorations, transforming parks, streets and village greens into sparkling night-time attractions.
From strolling beneath the illuminated branches along Caloundra’s Esplanade, to enjoying a twilight picnic under Montville’s twinkling canopy, or cruising past the bright, beachside display at Alexandra Headland, residents and visitors alike are invited to explore the region’s festive hotspots.
Council is encouraging families to plan their own Christmas lights trail, take in the warm summer evenings and embrace the joy of the season.
