Upcoming forum: a park for children, families and others in Maleny Community Precinct
Maleny Forums has been approached by local residents about convening a forum regarding a local park for families, children, older people; with age-appropriate equipment; a lavatory in easy walking distance; and with spaces for picnics and enjoying the natural environment.
At the Forum, we will
• Hear from Sunshine Coast Council Officers, local family organisations and family members about the possibilities for a Park in Maleny
• Explore the support for a Park and the desirable features of the Park
• Consider membership of an ongoing working group to collaborate with Council
When: October 2022; day and time to be confirmed
Where: Maleny Community Centre, Maple St, Maleny
Free, though a gold coin donation towards the hire cost of the hall is appreciated.
