Round 2 of the State Government’s Games On! program has opened, offering $30 million in funding for Queensland sporting clubs to upgrade facilities ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond.
The program supports grassroots participation through better infrastructure and improved access to quality sporting venues.
Round 1 funded 119 projects across the state, with hundreds more clubs expected to benefit.
Funding is available under two streams: $20 million for community-level “Field of Play” projects and $10 million for larger partnership developments.
Eligible organisations are invited to submit registrations of interest through the Games On! program website.
