The management committee for the GHM Community Garden held a meeting last Friday, July 18, to finalize the program for their Grand Opening.
The event will take place on August 9 at the GHM Hall, starting at 10am with the official ribbon cutting at 10.30am by Councillor Jenny Broderick.
Activities include face painting, garden talks, planting of the maze, competitions, a treasure hunt, and craft activities. Rotary will be providing a BBQ, and the community garden will be fundraising with plant and craft sales.
