MEMBERS of the Glasshouse Country Senior Citizens Club gathered last week to celebrate the club’s 43rd Annual General Meeting, electing a new Executive Committee and recognising several long-serving members for their dedication and service.
The meeting, saw Patricia Jutila elected President, Linda Platten appointed Secretary and Frank Moroney elected Treasurer. Members congratulated the incoming committee and thanked them for taking on leadership roles for the coming year.
A highlight of the meeting was the presentation of 25-year membership badges to Del Davis, Bonnie Breitkreitz and Rita Cruikshank, who was unable to attend on the day.
The trio was recognised for their longstanding support of the club and their contributions over many years, including service on both Executive and Sub Committees.
