THE Spirit of Christmas could be seen, heard and felt at the third annual Glass House Mountains Community Christmas Party at the Hall in Coonowrin Rd. With market stalls, food, live entertainment, raffles/lucky door prizes plus free activities for kids, the event offered something for everyone.
Santa arrived in style thanks to Glass House Mountains Rural Fire Brigade. Children enjoyed meeting Santa and receiving a free gift from Mrs Claus and Santa’s elves.
It was a perfect Summer’s night for carols in the park. The varied line-up of talented performers made for a fun night of singing, dancing and community connection for the 800+ people who attended.
The annual Christmas Party is the culmination of many months of planning by a dedicated group of volunteers from the Glass House Mountains Community Collective.
The event is made possible through generous support from local business, community groups and Sunshine Coast Council.
