THE Probus Club of Glasshouse Mountains has enjoyed our regular monthly activities including ‘Coffee & Chat’ gathering for some lively conversation and morning tea, Book Club, Canasta and Mahjong groups creates opportunities for members to socialise and connect.
An outing to Sunshine & Sons Distillery, Woombye where the Chief Distiller guided us through a tasting of their Gin and Rum. A very informative morning followed by a tasty lunch at Ricks Garage/Diner in Palmwoods.
Looking ahead to meeting on 10th June. Our Guest Speaker is John Wagner, recently retired Australian Director of Mercy Ships. The International Charity operating Two of the worlds largest privately owned hospital ships. He is keen to let us know what increasing numbers of Aussie volunteers are doing to extend Medical Aid and Compassion to the poorest of the poor of our world.
The Club meets at 10am on the second Wednesday of each month at the Glasshouse Mountains RSL Rooms. New Members are welcome.
