OUR June outing was to a member’s home where we enjoyed morning tea and scones made by our group. Recipes were shared and we all enjoyed tasting both savoury and sweet varieties.
Lots of fun was had, raffles too and time to prepare props for our forthcoming birthday party. Our next lunch will incorporate our 19th birthday party based on ‘Making a Spectacle’ to also celebrate 100 years of The Smith Family. It will be held on June 15 at 11am at the Glasshouse Country RSL when we will have fun games, raffles, a buffet lunch and a great day.
