Grants available to boost workforce

The Miles Government has announced a $10.5 million second round of the Workforce Connect Fund, offering grants of up to $1 million for industry and community organisations to enhance staff attraction, retention, and participation in Queensland workplaces.

Part of the $25 million Good people. Good jobs: Queensland Workforce Strategy 2022-32, the fund supports large-scale job-creating projects, while an additional $2 million is available for small businesses to develop innovative human resources solutions.

The first round provided $12.5 million to 16 organisations, including Business Chamber Queensland’s Workforce Evolve project.
