The Crisafulli Government is offering four-year funding to support Queensland’s not-for-profit live music festivals, with grants of at least $100,000 per year now open for application.
The Organisations Fund 2026–2029, administered by Arts Queensland, targets small-to-medium arts and cultural organisations across the state. It aims to strengthen community connection, showcase local stories and talent, and support the creative workforce by subsidising core operational and program costs.
A dedicated funding stream is available for not-for-profit festivals that feature live music as a central component of their programming.
Minister for the Arts, Mr John-Paul Langbroek, said the initiative was part of a broader vision to build Queensland’s cultural reputation and support tourism growth in the lead-up to the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
“Our investment will ensure Queensland’s arts and cultural festivals provide access to high quality arts experiences, platform local artists and stories, and work to supercharge tourism outcomes across the state,” Mr Langbroek said.
He said the funding aligned with the Crisafulli Government’s Destination 2045 tourism strategy, which aims to establish Queensland as a leading cultural destination.
Applications close on Monday, 10 March. For more information, visit Arts Queensland.
