Sunshine Coast Libraries are helping kids (and parents) have fun these Easter holodays.
Registrations are now open for holiday packs for kids aged 3 to 12 years old.
There are two packs: Toddler packs for 3 to 5 year olds and Kids packs for 6-12 year olds.
Toddler pack
Help the bugs in your neighbourhood by decorating and hanging this little insect hotel. Decorate with natural things found in your garden like leaves, twigs and seeds. Suitable for ages 3–5 years.
Each Toddler pack contains:
- Insect hotel
- Scavenger hunt
Kids pack
Grow your own flowers with this little DIY greenhouse. Suitable for ages 6–12 years.
Each Kids pack contains:
- DIY greenhouse kit with seeds and soil
- Outdoor Scavenger hunt
Libraries say they will monitor and enforce age limits with programs designed and materials provided for specific age groups to correspond with their motor and literacy skills and developmental age. Packs for ages 5+ may contain small parts.
Each child must have their own library card.
