Healthcare with heart at GHM

Our local nurses leading compassionate care

The nurses at Glass House Mountains Medical Centre play a vital role in providing quality healthcare to our local community.
Working across multiple areas, their expertise and friendly manner ensures patients receive comprehensive care, tailored to their individual needs.
We are proud to have a fully equipped treatment room and we are able to offer a variety of services including wound care, vaccinations, minor procedures, spirometry, ECG, ear syringing and more.
In addition to the treatment room, we have nurses who specialise in chronic disease management. Our nurses assist patients with chronic diseases, such as diabetes, asthma, heart disease and other conditions. They assist in creating a plan for managing these conditions, conduct regular reviews, provide education and lifestyle advice, and empower patients to lead healthier lifestyles.
Our team of nurses also highlight the importance of annual health assessments. These proactive checks provide a detailed overview of your health, enabling us to identify risks early.
Specific assessments we offer include the over 75 year old health assessment, Indigenous health assessments, the 45-49 year old health check, heart health assessments and diabetes risk assessment.
Each assessment is designed to address age or condition based concerns, promoting and enhancing long-term wellbeing. At Glass House Mountains Medical Centre, our nurses aim to be partners in your healthcare journey, dedicated to supporting you every step of the way.
