THE Landsborough and Glasshouse Cricket Clubs are making waves in their respective Senior Men’s division grand finals, with both sides battling for ultimate glory.

Glasshouse’s Division 2 Men’s side is locked in a two-weekend showdown against Tewantin Noosa, with Glasshouse currently at the crease. Tewantin Noosa posted 10/244 in their first innings, while Glasshouse sits at 6/148 in reply. After winning the toss and electing to bowl, Glasshouse’s attack was led by Ben Stokes and Harrison Murree, both claiming three wickets. Skipper Jeremy Schultz is holding firm at stumps with 34 not out, while batting partner Riley Schultz is yet to get off the mark after facing two deliveries. Stokes also contributed with the bat, top-scoring for Glasshouse so far with 36.

The action resumes on March 29 from 12:30pm at Glasshouse’s home ground.

Landsborough’s Division 4 Men’s team has earned their place in the grand final against the Maroochydore Swans and has taken early control of the contest. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Landsborough posted a strong total of 10/281. Beau Walker led the charge with an impressive 95, falling just short of a well-deserved century, while Jonny Meuleners chipped in with a solid 58.

Maroochydore struggled in response, bowled out for just 100, as Meuleners turned destroyer with the ball, taking a remarkable seven-wicket haul. At stumps, Landsborough is into its second innings, with Oliver Meuleners and Wade Clark at the crease.

The grand final battle continues on March 29 at 12:30pm in Buderim.

Good luck to both Glasshouse and Landsborough!
