THE search is on for a new organiser to take the reins of the popular Maleny Wedding Festival, with experienced event managers invited to submit proposals to deliver the event in 2027.
Hinterland Tourism Sunshine Coast Inc. (HTSC) has released a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking an organisation with the creativity, commercial capability and event management expertise to stage the festival on January 16-17, 2027.
HTSC president Wayne Parcell PSM said the festival had built a strong reputation and loyal following over many years, and the association was looking for the right organisation to guide its future. “The Maleny Wedding Festival already enjoys an excellent reputation and a loyal following,” Mr Parcell said.
