The World Aquatics Masters Championships was held in Singapore this month, attracting more than 6,000 competitors from around 100 countries.

Two Glasshouse Masters swimmers, Lene Lund Knudsen and Kylie Cornock, represented the region in the pool competitions.

She also excelled in relays, securing a silver and two gold medals, including a championship record in the 4 x 50m women’s medley relay. Lene commented, “It’s been a great experience competing at the World Masters Championships. Singapore did a fantastic job hosting the event.”

Kylie achieved her fastest 100m freestyle time in over two years and set new personal bests in the 50m freestyle and 50m butterfly. She also improved her 50m freestyle time during the anchor leg of the 4 x 50m women’s freestyle relay, helping her team win bronze.
