A VIBRANT slice of local history will come to life on Saturday May 16, as the Landsborough Museum celebrates its 50th anniversary with a lively community street festival.
Running from 10am – 2pm, the milestone event promises a fun-filled day for all ages, blending entertainment, education and a strong sense of community spirit.
Families are invited to explore the museum precinct as it transforms into a bustling festival hub, complete with live music, interactive activities, heritage displays and plenty of food.
The festival also forms part of the wider Australian Heritage Festival, highlighting the importance of preserving and sharing community heritage.
Visitors can enjoy live performances from the Ol’Daze Band, while children will be kept entertained with a petting zoo, jumping castle and face painting.
A classic car display will add a nostalgic touch, alongside market stalls and engaging exhibits from local organisations.
