Local producers invited to join The Curated Plate 2025

Renowned chef Peter Kuruvita is calling on Sunshine Coast producers, chefs, restaurateurs and businesses to take part in The Curated Plate 2025, with expressions of interest open until February 3.

Now in its sixth year, the 10-day food and drink festival will run from July 25 to August 3 and promises to be the biggest celebration of local flavours to date.

“This year’s festival will have a greater focus on honouring our local producers and offering a smorgasbord of different cuisines,” Mr Kuruvita said.
“It’s an opportunity for the food and drink industry to showcase their offering to locals and visitors who will, in turn, drive year-round visitation.”

Participants manage their own events and keep 100 per cent of revenue from ticket sales, with free support available from Mr Kuruvita and marketing experts.

Mayor Rosanna Natoli said the festival strengthened the local economy through collaboration with Food and Agribusiness Network, Visit Sunshine Coast and Tourism and Events Queensland.
“We are looking to create a program full of diverse experiences for locals and visitors,” she said.
