A NEW chapter in youth mental health support on the Sunshine Coast will begin as community leaders, local businesses, and supporters marked the official sod-turning and launch of the Lookout 07 Charity Home at 45 Rivus Circuit, Banya on May 8.
The landmark project brings together some of the region’s most respected organisations, with Costa Homes leading construction, Car Coop generously providing a Haval Jolion SUV, Sunshine Coast Financial Solutions providing financial backing, and Town Group managing the marketing and upcoming auction of the completed home.
For the Lookout 07 Charity Home, Costa Homes has committed its expertise and resources.
Their involvement has helped create a tangible legacy that will directly support youth mental health initiatives across the region, aligning with the shared vision of building stronger, more connected communities.
Sunshine Coast Mayor Rosanna Natoli officially turned the first sod, marking the beginning of a project that will directly fund vital youth mental health programs delivered by Lookout 07.
Founded in 2023 under the Stensholm Foundation, Lookout 07 was created to provide a safe, inclusive space for young people aged 12–25 facing mental health challenges, trauma, and life pressures.
The organisation delivers early intervention, mentorship, and wellbeing programs designed to empower young people and create lasting change across the Sunshine Coast community.
