ON Tuesday and Wednesday Bruce Warwick from ProSports will be servicing our bowls green which ensures that it is kept in pristine condition.
Bruce’s expertise and care has seen the artificial green reach 15 years of life and still “playing like it was new” which is unprecedented. This will ensure that when we cater for visitors from across Australia and New Zealand for the Sunshine Coast Winter Carnival Mixed Pairs on Tuesday July 14 2026 it is ready to go.
Teams for the upcoming Sunshine Coast District Pennants competition starting on 25th July 2026 and running through until 19th September 2026 are being organised with skills sessions being held on a Saturday morning by Steve Palmer to prepare and support our players.
This program is free to all members and has received very positive feedback from participants so why not come and see for yourself.
This week we held our Monthly Triples competition with visiting clubs representing Woodford, Mapleton, Glasshouse, Kilcoy and Kenilworth Bowls Clubs who all enjoy the rivalry playing against Maleny teams in the battle to be winners of the day.
Thanks to our wonderful sponsors Maleny Hotel who not only provided the prizemoney but also catered for the lunch which was well received by all. Thanks also to Maleny Quality Meats who provided the meat tray (best meat in Australia) for our raffle and Relma & Lucy who managed the kitchen.
