Maleny Bowls celebrated 85 years on the weekend.
To mark the special milestone the club unveiled the naming of the green after the original owner who donated the land where the club operates today.
Today they celebrated the milestone by naming the Green after the original owner who donated the land the club sits on – Mr W.H.R Burnett. Club patron and Glasshouse MP Andrew Powell was on hand to do the official unveiling alongside Mr Burnett’s granddaughter.
