BUSINESS and community representatives gathered at the Maleny Hotel recently for the Maleny Commerce Annual General Meeting, with almost 40 members attending to elect the organisation’s committee for 2026–2027.
The meeting marked the retirement of the 2025–2026 committee, including long-serving executive members Spencer and Karen Shaw, who stepped down after 12 years of service and involvement.
Guest speaker Chris McLoughlin delivered presentation, Getting Your Story Heard: media guide for local businesses, offering advice on improving communication and media engagement for enterprises.
