MALENY Cheese is celebrating its 21st Anniversary this April, marking over two decades of success in Queensland’s boutique dairy industry.

Founded by Markus and Sara Bucher, who draw from their Swiss heritage, the business has become a local icon.

Despite facing setbacks, including a devastating fire at the factory in 2018, followed by COVID, the Buchers and their team showed incredible resilience, making a strong recovery.

Maleny Cheese sources milk from Sunshine Coast Hinterland farms, ensuring its cheeses are made from the freshest and highest quality ingredients.

Markus and Sara are committed to sustainability and supporting Queensland’s dairy industry, which has helped them strengthen their community ties.

Sara Bucher believes, ‘’The heart of our enduring success is our focus to connect with our customers.’’

To celebrate this milestone, they are inviting visitors to the Café throughout April, offering a chance to experience their exceptional cheeses and support a local favorite.
