LOCAL business owners gathered early last Tuesday for Maleny Commerce’s August Networking Breakfast at Maleny Food Co.
Guest speaker Joe Proctor from the Queensland Government’s Business Concierge team delivered a practical and informative overview of the support available to small businesses. His presentation covered resources including government grants, mentoring, counselling services, and disaster recovery assistance.
Volunteers from the Maleny Visitor Information Centre (MVIC) also outlined the benefits of the MVIC Business Partnership Program, highlighting how the Centre’s website and Facebook page promote and support local businesses.
Maleny Commerce confirmed it will continue to host engaging speakers and valuable networking opportunities, with the next breakfast event scheduled for October.
