Maleny Dairies 2026 champion win

MALENY Dairies has again cemented its reputation as one of Queensland’s leading dairy producers, taking home two champion titles at the 2026 Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) Queensland Dairy Product Competition.

Owners Ross and Sally Hopper accepted the awards at the presentation dinner held at Chermside RSL on Friday, July 24, with the family-owned dairy recognised for Champion Stirred Yoghurt for its Strawberry Yoghurt and Champion Cream for its Pure Cream.

The prestigious honours place both products among the state’s finest and automatically qualify them for the Australian Grand Dairy Awards later this year, where champion and gold medal-winning products from around the country compete for national honours. Mr Hopper said the business already had eight products eligible for the Australian Grand Dairy Awards from competitions held so far this year, with the final tally expected to increase once the Queensland results catalogue is released.

The latest accolades continue a strong run of success for the Maleny-based dairy, highlighting its commitment to producing award-winning, locally made dairy products enjoyed across Queensland and beyond.
