MALENY Rotary will mark the Global 16 Days of Activism against Gendered Violence (25 November–10 December) with their annual Walk Against Family Violence on Friday 28 at 9.30am.
The peaceful walk along Maple Street acknowledges the 16 Days campaign, supports the work of Speak Up Now, and highlights businesses participating in Rotary’s Purple Friday domestic violence advocacy initiative. The event demonstrates a united community commitment to ending family violence and promoting respectful relationships. Community members are warmly invited to join the walk, which begins outside Barbers of Maleny.
