A FREE community screening of a documentary celebrating one of Queensland’s proudest regional traditions, the Maleny Show, was held at Landsborough Museum on July 12.
The film showcases 100 years of agriculture and community spirit and the many people who have seen or helped it flourish.
Dozens of current and former volunteers attended the event.
Division 5 Councillor and Show Society president, Winston Johnston, said the documentary celebrating the people who were the driving force behind the show – through wars, fire, drought and rain – was an invaluable community asset.
